Fadnavis, Sena, Pawar are common words
on papers in the last few days.

So what is it all about?

The legislative assembly elections was held in Maharashtra on 21st October 2019.
The Results were declared on 24th October, 2019.
BJP - 105 seats
SHIV - 56
NCP - 54
Congress - 44
and the remaining seats by small parties and independents.

BJP and Shiv Sena formed alliance even before the elections. But then Shiv Sena demanded for equal power and things didn't go well between them.
The government invited BJP, Shiv Sena and NCP one by one to form a government but none had the coalition to prove majority. The president rule was imposed on 12th november as the state was yet to form a stable government. 

This rule was revoked after 11 days when Fadnivis enticed Ajit Pawar(NCP) to his side and on 23rd November Devandra Fadnavis took power as CM and Ajit Pawar as deputy CM.

It is the same in politics as in life. When you feel a problem is solved, another one pops up. Pawar family had been persuading Ajit to come back since the day he took power. On the other side, the Supreme Court ordered floor test. It is a motion where the chief minister elected by the governor will have to prove that he enjoys majority support on the legislative assembly floor. So, Fadnavis is supposed to prove his majority.
Hours after this order, Ajit resigned citing personal reasons. This undoubtedly left BJP with lesser support. Fadnavis also resigned the same day.

Taking advantage of this situation, NCP, Shiv Sena and congress together formed an alliance named 'Maha Vikas Aghadi' and picked Uddhav Thackeray as their leader.
Fadnavis commented on this alliance as a tricycle with the three wheels moving in different directions.

Uddhav Thackeray takes the position of Chief minister on 28th Novermber, 2019.

INX MEDIA CASE EXPLAINED!

A 74 year old Member of Parliament in Tihar jail for more than 3 months is sure to catch our attention. P.Chidambaram recently accused the centre for trying to shake his mental strength by imprisoning him in relation to the INX media case. INX media is a television broadcasting company with 6 music channels. It is owned by Indrani and her husband Peter Mukerjee. Generally companies are supposed to get permission from the FIPB to accept foreign direct investments and other major financial transactions from abroad. Isn't it confusing? One side, there are people clapping hard, blowing their conches and tapping their plates together to show gratitude to the workers. On the other hand, they are breaking rules and trying to escape from medical examinations and thus making it tedious for the workers. THE CITIZENSHIP (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2019.

Political parties make great promises and frame appealing manifestos during elections. But keeping up with those promises is the biggest of all tasks. Citizenship Amendment Bill(CAB) is one such promise made by the BJP. What is the CAB? The CAB is an amendment of the the Ctizenship act, 1955. This bill states that if people who migrated from Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan before 31st december 2014 belong to any one of the 6 communities (Hindus, Jains, Buddhists, Sikhs, Parsi and Christians), they are eligible for the Indian citizenship.
